With a view to cater to the gamer base of the country, leading handset manufacturer, Sony Ericsson has come up with its new gaming handset ‘F305’ in Indian market. The new Sony Ericsson F305 mobile phone is endowed with three preloaded motion games along with 50 additional games. Apart from this, the handset offers a two megapixel camera. The new mobile will be available at a price of Rs 8,995. While interacting with the media, Sony Ericsson General Manager Sudhin Mathur informed that the F305 phone incorporates motion sensor technology.
 
The users of the new Sony Ericsson gaming phone will able to enjoy horizontal gameplay with the help of dedicated gaming buttons. The three pre-loaded motion games include Bowling, Bass Fishing and Jockey. The motion sensor technology of Sony Ericsson F305 allows the users to control games with the flick of a wrist or the swing of an arm.
 
Talking about the future plans of Sony Ericsson, Sudhin Mathur informed that the company is likely to plan more innovative products in gaming segment as there has been a tremendous increase in the numbers of gamers in India. In imaging and music segments, the company has its Walkman and Cybershot range.  

Giving his view on the impact of the slowdown, Sudhin Mathur said that although there is an economic slowdown, but in India, sales have not declined drastically. Mathur further revealed that Sony is planning to come up with its own download service ‘PlayNow’ for Indian consumers. The download service is expected to be launched by the first half of the current year. With help of Sony's 'PlayNow', the users will be able to download master tones (MP3 ringtones), games, full music tracks, themes and wallpapers.
