An actress who has a real inclination towards books reveals her hidden side of interest for it.
When Sonam was young and immature, she didn’t get herself involved in the innocent games of playing with dolls and toys. She always had more interest in reading books.
Sonam adds “Be it a trip to the dentist, getting an injection or even coming home with a good report card, my reward always had to be a book. I didn't care much for anything else."
The most essential part of her day was those bed-time stories which her mother would narrate to her before she could finally sleep.
As per Sonam, her mother would go after reading certain pages. She would grab the book under the bed covers and read it with a flash light! It shows the anxiousness in a reader to know the end of a fiction.
She adds,"I don't think most books can be justifiably translated on screen. The film versions can't convey the right emotion, fuel your imagination or allow you to visualize every line, the way books do,"
