Emerging star of tinsel town, Sonam Kapoor may be three movies old but her dreams are very high. After portraying the role of ‘Sakina’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’, the little girl of actor Anil Kapoor wants to get into the shoes of veteran actress Madhubala to essay the role of ‘Anarkali’.
Sonam claimed that K Asif's 1960 release has always been close to her heart and she cannot bear anyone else starring in the lead role.
"Mughal-e-Azam is my favourite film and I would love to play Anarkali. I love the film," the actress quoted.
The chirpy beauty has also finalised the actor who will be ideal to portray the role of her ‘Salim’ in the flick.
"I think Abhishek will be great as Salim and Big B will be perfect for the role of Akbar," Sonam said.
Meanwhile, the 25-year old hottie is eagerly looking forward for the release of her forthcoming flick, ‘Aisha’ which is set to hit screens this Friday.
