Sonakshi, the typical village girl in Salman Khan starrer, Dabangg, will take a modern avatar now and she will be seen adorning modern outfits in her next outing with superstar Akshay Kumar ‘Joker’.

Joker is a 3d film and this time Sonakshi is again paired up with another superstar Akshay Kumar. Salman Khan helped launching the actress in ‘Dabangg’, which proved to be a successful attempt.

The actress adds further, “Oh yes, there's more to me than the demure 'gaon ki sehmi-sehmi' Rajjo in 'Dabangg'. Audiences will see me totally urbanized in 'Joker' and 'Kick'.

‘Kick’ is another movie and is a remake of a Telegu movie with the same name; Farah Khan’s husband, Shirish Kunder will direct the movie while her film with Akshay ‘Joker’ will also be co-incidentally directed by Kunder only.

Sonakshi tells about the two movies, 'It's just a coincidence that 'Kick' and 'Joker' have the same director. I signed them because I loved my role and the script."

She continues, ''Joker' is going to be shot in 3D. I've always been fascinated by the technique. I remember as kids we used to watch 3D films like 'Shiva Ka Insaaf' with those special glasses. Great fun to watch. Hopefully, it will be enjoyable to shoot. I can't wait to start shooting in January.”

In ‘Dabangg’, the actress was seen in small parts, but she makes clear that this time that she will seen in equal parts with Akshay in ‘Joker’. The actress ends saying that after doing ‘Joker’, she got so many calls as offers, but none of them made sense to her.
