Somdev Devvarman and Prakash Amritraj of India advanced into the second round of Seoul Challenger. The Indians won their respective first round matches in the $1, 25,000 ATP Challenger event in Seoul, Korea.
Fourth seed Somdev advanced into the pre-quarters after his South African opponent Rik de Voest retired when the Indian was leading 6-3, 2-0.
Prakash, on the other hand, registered straight set win over local lad Kyu Tae IM by 6-3, 6-1.Prakash will take on second seed and Taipei Davis Cupper Yen-Hsun Lu in the second round.
Somdev will challenge Pavol Cervenak of Slovakia in this pre-quarter encounter.
