The Pakistani bowler launched a fiery spell and got six wickets for 14 runs in his alotted four overs at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur. This remarkable display has made Sohail Tanvir the holder of a stupendous bowling record in Twenty20 cricket.
The Rajasthan Royals bowler made the game look like a one-sided affair. Opting to bat first, Chennai Super Kings were bundled back to the pavilion with just 109 runs in 19 Overs. Rajasthan Royals sailed towards an easy victory in 14.2 overs losing only two wickets. With this win Rajasthan Royals have moved up to the top spot in the IPL points table. Sohail was the man of the evening, dominating the game right from the first ball when he removed the Chennai opener Parthiv Patel and Stephen Fleming in the very first over without any run on the board.
