It is reported that Soha Ali Khan has got an offer for acting in a prominent role in Salman Rushdie’s novel ‘Mid Night’s Children’ movie adaption. The offer has really thrilled Soha and she has suddenly started to feel more important.
 
Salman Rushdie is one such writer from the Indian origin who has been acclaimed and acknowledged worldwide. In fact, he has been rated tenth amongst 50 British writers since 1945.
 
As per reports Salman Rushdie visited Mumbai recently to meet Soha and narrated the script of the movie to her, the movie will be directed by Deepa Mehta. Soha was very excited after listening to the first hand narration by the booker prize winner himself.
 
Sources reveal, “Salman and Soha bonded big. The author is delighted that Soha is on board and travelled down to meet her and discuss the novel, its cinematic adaptation and Soha`s character. Salman is always kept in the loop by Deepa as she understands that he will be excited to know everything. The novel is one of his best works and he would want to see everything in order before cameras roll."
 
Soha is a great fan of the writer and loves his style of expressive writing, she thoughtfully adds, “I love that he is sometimes so irreverent about things.”
 
If everything goes well, then Soha is sure to get some critical international acclaim and she would be fortunate enough to work with international filmmakers like Deepa Mehta.
