Onir of ‘My Best Friend Nikhil’ fame has roped in Soha Ali Khan and south Indian star Siddharth for his next film loosely based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. This will be the second film that Siddharth and Soha will be doing together after the critically acclaimed super hit ‘Rang De Basanti’. Actors Shabana Azmi and Boman Irani have also been roped in to play the parts of Queen Gertrude and King Polonius.
Bhavani Iyer of Black fame is scripting the adaptation for Onir. The director is however wary to talk about Hamlet. He states that currently he is busy with ‘Sorry Bhai’, starring Chitrangada Singh and if he starts discussing Hamlet, it will be conjectured that he is juggling with two films. According to some media reports, Soha Ali Khan and Siddharth are known to be dating each other. However, the petite actress has always maintained that they are just good friends.
