According to new research conducted by Prof Stolerman smoking can boost memory. Though smoking has always been linked with different diseases and ailments, nicotine as stimuli has always been accepted. Traditionally it has been observed that nicotine has side effects such as cancer, stroke, and heart disease and many more and first time something nice has come for it. Prof Stolerman came to the conclusion when he studied how nicotine alters the brain's circuitry to boost concentration and memory.
According to the researcher tobacco can boost concentration. Giving mixed warnings Prof Stolerman said that the medicine made would have a mixture of beneficial and harmful effects. Prof. Stolerman who teaches at Britain's King's College said that nicotine can boost the intelligence and recall ability of animals in laboratory experiments. Interestingly, in his study, Prof. Stolerman has shown that the concentration power in rats went up by 5 per cent when injected with nicotine and it can have identical implications for humans.
