To woo more and more tourists to India, the concerned authorities constantly endeavor to come up with unique promotional ideas. After Bollywood favorite Aamir Khan, the Indian tourism ministry has now roped in the Singapore Airlines to give fillip to its multi-pronged Incredible India campaign.
Talking about this tie-up, Leena Nandan, joint secretary in the ministry, said, 'In collaboration with the Indian tourism ministry, the airline will soon start showing the Incredible India promotional clip on its flights to India.' Nandan added that the Singapore Airlines would bring tour operators and travel writers to India for tourism promotion.
'The airline will offer special packages to these people to promote tourism,' Leena Nandan said. She pointed out that their travel within India will be taken care of. She said that the plan is to promote each and every region as each one has got its own USP. This initiative, sources informed, was taken at the suggestion of the civil aviation ministry. It was learnt that there will be similar tie ups with other airlines as well.
