British singer Cheryl Cole who is down with malaria is feeling better as claimed by her pal and media mogul Simon Cowell. The media icon said that the young singer is ‘better and feeling perky’.
The Girls Aloud star has been hospitalised in the U.K. since she was diagnosed with the mosquito-borne illness earlier this month.
The doctors has strictly advised the singer to remain away from the work to make a speedy recovery and also urged Cowell to look for another star to take Cole's seat on the judging panel of his U.K. talent show, ‘The X Factor’.
But, Cowell is confident that Cole will return to the series soon and it seems that the 27-year old pop icon is also not ready to listen to her doctor’s suggestion as Cheryl texted the mogul to tell him that she's eager to head back to the show.
Simon quoted, "I had a text from her last night. She says she is better and feeling perky. She does want to come back to work but I need to talk to her about when that's going to be."
