Sikander Kher has been roped in by Ashutosh Gowariker for his next flick titled ‘Khelein Gay Hum Jee Jaan Se’.Sikander who is the son of veteran Bollywood actors Anupam and Kirron Kher has already made appearance in ‘Woodstock Villa’ and ‘Summers 2007’.
The young star who is yet to make a Box Office mark is waiting for his big break. The new venture might prove a turning point for Sikandar in Bollywood.
"Sikandar is very close friends with Abhishek Bachchan, who plays the protagonist in this film, and he was the one who recommended his buddy`s name for the part. Ashu had already auditioned a couple of newbie actors for the same role but hadn`t locked anyone," a close source said.
The source added, "Ashu called Sikandar and made him audition for the role, like all others actors vying for the role. Ashu liked what he saw and signed him the following day. Getting this movie is a big step for Kirron Kher`s son`s career. The movie is a four-hero project. AB Jr plays main lead while Sikandar will play second lead. Sikku signed on the film last week and over the weekend, even threw a party for close friends at one friend`s house in Bandra celebrating the fact that he landed the film."
The movie ‘Khelein Gay Hum Jee Jaan Se’ will hit the screens in 2010. Sikandar refused to comment on the movie as he was busy in a crucial meeting.
