Shruti Hassan’s career came to a hault, after her Bollywood debut movie, ‘Luck’. Since that time, she hasn’t received any offers so far. Now, Madhur Bhandarkar has set hands on her operation recovery.
Shruti Haasan is the daughter of legendry actor, Kamal Haasan, but still it seems she has not inherited all his qualities! So far she has only acted in ‘Luck’, which apparently didn’t bring much luck to her career.
But, it seems Madhur Bhandarkar is on the mission of shaping her career. He has signed Shruti for her first comedy movie ‘Dil To Baccha Hai Ji’, in the lead role and Emraan Hashmi plays opposite to her.
Madhur adds, “Shruti has met me some months ago expressing the desire to work with me. I thought she would suit the part opposite Emraan Hashmi perfectly.”
Madhur Bhandarkar is a huge admirer of Kamal Haasan and he adds, “Kamalji is a legend. And I can’t say the thought of working with his daughter did not pass through my mind. However, I must add that Shruti is a very bright, pretty and talented girl. She’s bound to go far.”
