That the Indian film industry is predicted to grow manifold in the years to come is apparent by the escalating investment that is being pumped into this business, plus the varied genres of movies being made. Sources from the industry inform that the Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd alone is going to make an investment of whooping Rs nine billion in its impending releases.

 

Some of the most popular and hit movies of the recent times such as Jab We Met, Bhagam Bhag and Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya have been made under the Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd banner. Confirming the news, Dhilin Mehta, the MD of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd, said ‘Our strategy still remains to deliver more and more good quality entertainment to the audiences. The company has multiple releases lined up of over Rs.9 billion, which can be universally accepted by the people of all genres.’

 

The movie lovers can, thus, look forward to the release of movies of varied genres from under the Shree Ashtavinayak banner such as comedies, thrillers, action and romantic. The actual sequence in which these movies will be released has not been fixed, but the first one to hit the screens this year will be Shivam Nair's suspense thriller Maharathi which features Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal, Tara Sharma and Neha Dhupia in its cast. Some other movies will be Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap, Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Returns and so on.
