Post all the violence displayed by Shiv Sena at various cinema halls with regard to screening of ‘My Name Is Khan’, the Maharashtra CM has threatened Uddhav Thackeray, Sena’s executive president that his security along with that of some others’ in the party will be removed unless they agree to “behave themselves”.

This statement was given by the CM after the Sena threatened to make their protests more severe.

The Sena was irked over Shah Rukh’s empathy towards the Pakistani cricketers who were side lined during the IPL and its ego had a bigger blow when Shah Rukh said that there was no question of his apologising. Fuming with rage over Shah Rukh’s firm and unapologetic attitude the Sena displayed violence by breaking booking windows at a few cinemas and even staged protests outside many theatres.

The Mumbai Police has already detained as many as 400 miscreants involved in the protests.

In response to the CM’s warning Uddhav Thackeray and Senior Shiv Sena leader Subhash Desai said they would return the security themselves. Uddhav even passed remarks mocking at the Maharashtra Government. He said, “Let them provide all the security to Kasab.”

Amidst all the threat to remove security R.R. Patil, the state Home Minister, said that security of all the Sena leaders was still intact and that security will be given to the theatres screening ‘My Name Is Khan’ and to Shah Rukh as well.

The Shiv Sena is still very adamant and firm on its intention to get Shah Rukh to apologise, come what may. The Sena even called him a “traitor”.
