The domestic help who accused Shiney Ahuja of rape last year suddenly disappeared along with her family.

 

The maid’s whole family is reportedly missing and no one has a clue in the village about the family’s whereabouts.

 

A neighbour of the victim’s family said, "They did not inform anyone they were leaving. Earlier, the family used to hand over the house keys if they were going out of the village for a few days. They used to keep us posted about where they were going. It is a mystery why they have left like that."

 

Previously, the maid’s family got full support from the villagers but after she changed her statement, the support started to reduce.

 

Sunil Mhatre, a villager said, "It beats me. I still don't understand why she retracted her statement. The family was poor and they were looking for employment."

 

The father of Shiney’s maid was working for a politician there but, even the politician is clueless about the family’s sudden disappearance.
