Shilpa Shetty, one hears, has been roped in to host the second season of the Indian television reality show Bigg Boss II which will begin being aired sometime in August this year. The reason is quite simple – the Bollywood actress stirred up quite an uproar globally during her participation in the British version of the reality show Big Brother and some fellow participants passing racial comments against her.

The producers of Bigg Boss II, perhaps, expect the same level of interest to be generated by Shetty’s participation this time again. Sources inform that the second season of Bigg Boss will go on air sometime in August and will run for three months, with one episode for each day. Bigg Boss II reality show will be broadcast on the new TV channel Colors after Akshay Kumar-hosted Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi terminates.

Colors is heard to be cooking up some really big plans for Bigg Boss II and therefore approached Shilpa Shetty. Some sources even suggest that the Bollywood actress will participate in the show. This will be Shilpa Shetty’s second coming on Indian television after ‘Jhalak Dikhlaaja’, a dance show. She sure is going to add colors to colors.
