Sharp’s glasses-free 3D Android mobile phones, which was recently launched in Japan is likely to hit the Indian markets soon, the company said. According to sources, the phone could also be released in the US, China and India in the next year.
 
The glasses-free 3D phones enables access to 3D movies and 3D games including SILPHEED Alternative, Konami Mobile Baseball game, Taiko No Tatsujin, Ghost & Goblin, Bio Hazard and Megaman.
 
The 3D mobile phones- the Galapagos 003SH and 005SH are equipped with 3.8 inches multi-touch 3D glass-free touch-screen, Wi-Fi, GPS and Tuner, Android 2.2 and 1Ghz processor. Even pictures can be snapped as 3D photos with the 9.6 mega pixels camera with the Galapagos 003SH.
 
The Galapagos 005SH comes with a QWERTY slider and is equipped with 8 mega pixels camera.
 
The company has, however, not disclosed as to which model it would launch for the US, India and Chinese markets. In Japan, the 003SH would start selling in December 2010 while the 005SH would start selling from February 2011.
