Shania Twain, Canadian country and pop singer and songwriter, who ended her fourteen long year’s marriage to her music producer husband Robert Mutt Lange, remarked that she is heart broken after the break up. The Canadian singer remarked that she is heartbroken and in pain after ending her marriage to a man who took her to the unparalleled heights of the music world.
Shania also thanked her fans for supporting her when she was going through a rough time. At her website, Twain wrote to her ‘beloved fans’ that she wanted them all to know that it would not have been possible to go through all this had it not been for their support. She added that their letters, emails and words of encouragement gave her strength.
The Canadian singer said that she is focusing on her singing career now to get over the break up. The 42 year old singer had met Lange, 59, in 1993 for collaboration on her first hit album ‘The Woman in Me’. The duo got married the very same year. Shania has already been honored with five Grammy awards and rose to instant fame after her marriage with Lange. The couple has a six year old son Eja. Twain says that she has a lot to say about her break up, but knows that the best way for her to speak is through her music.
