Makrand Deshpande seems to be in Shah Rukh Khan’s special friend list because King Khan who has a cameo role in Makrand’s movie Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu allowed him to shoot in Mannat.

 

Mannat is Shah Rukh Khan’s residence in Mumbai and Khan permitted the team to shoot in Mannat and also allowed Makrand make use of his car at the background.

 

Makrand and Khan worked together in the TV serial Circus and it is said that both of them share a good relationship since then.

 

Makrand said, “If SRK had refused, the film would never have been made. The film has an important sequence where a street-girl selling flowers meets Shah Rukh, who is in his car at a traffic light and he tells her that she is beautiful. This statement changes her life."
