Bollywood hunk Shahid Kapoor refused to star in Manish Gupta’s next venture ‘Hostel’ where he required to go nude for some scenes.Writer-Director Manish Gupta had to return back disappointed as Shahid showed least interest in the project even refusing to read the script or narration.
The writer of ‘Sarkar’ reportedly had a tough time hunting for the main protagonist of his novel venture.Buzz is also that Manish next approached Kunal Khemu for the role but again came back empty handed as Khemu also was not comfortable to go full monty for the role.
The challenging role requires the hero to undergo humiliation throughout the act including being stripped naked and beaten .A polite refusal also came from Shreyas Talpade who was offered the main lead.
At last Manish Gupta was relieved to get a nod from Vatsal Sheth who has agreed for the offer.Meanwhile Gupta has assured the actor of filming the scenes without hurting his dignity.
