Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan, has plans to open a studio in Malaysia. According to sources, the studio is being planned to be set up in the Malaysian province of Melaka, where Shah Rukh had been conferred with the honorary title of Datuk.
According to sources, the Bollywood King Khan and the Melaka chief minister Mohammed Ali Rustom share a good rapport. The both had met in his residence Mannat for a dinner last Monday.
That is when they had talked in detail about the entire plan. According to reports, Malaysia is interested in more Bollywood movies to be shot in the country. So a studio similar to the one King Khan has planned will offer the necessary infrastructure for such film units. The source also added that the studio has amenities meant for the local Malaysian film industry also.
