The Commonwealth Games 2010 starting on October 3 is likely to witness presence of superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the opening ceremony.A sports enthusiast,Shah Rukh would certainly give a positive boost to the Games which is facing flak regarding its delayed and not up to mark preparations and security.
Close sources to the games organising committee said about the apparent attendance of King Khan. Giving a positive nod to the report, director of the opening and closing ceremonies of 2010 CWG, Viraf Sarkari said, "I am sure the organising committee will invite Shah Rukh Khan and he can decide according to his schedule, whether he will be able to make it or not. It will be great to have him though."
Sarkari on other Bollywood stars participation in the event said, "At the moment the opening ceremony is completely cultural and the focus is not on Bollywood. It will showcase Indian cultural heritage in a big way and we are slogging hard to make it a grand affair."
