Khan Khan and his ‘reel life sweetheart’ Kajol rang the opening bell at the world’s biggest stock exchange, Nasdaq on 1st Feb at 9:30 in the morning. This is the first time that the ceremony has been performed by Bollywood celebrities and the duo is elated to have the honour to their credit. The ceremony is normally performed by CEOs of big companies.
The ceremony was broadcasted live across the world. The Nasdaq has over 3700 companies listed with it and has more trading volume than any other stock market.
On his way to Times Square where the Nasdaq building is situated Shah Rukh said, “Nasdaq will be fun. Have to make sure I reach on time, otherwise will end up being blamed for economic upheaval across the world too... ha ha.”
Shah Rukh and Kajol were in New York to promote their upcoming movie ‘My Name Is Khan’.
