Till now the cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Rajiv Menon has felt only the taste of success in his career. After having a successful ad filmmaking career, he stepped into cranking camera for various films.
Then he entered the mode of direction with “Minsara Kanavu’ and “Kandukondaen Kandukondaen’. These films won him awards on the criteria of the best entertaining films.
He had cranked camera for Mani Rathnam’s Hindi movie “Guru’ starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles. He had even finalized the deal with Abhi-Ash to remake yesteryear Bollywood classic; “Abhimaan’ but the venture did not happen due to various constraints.
Now there are rumours that Rajiv Menon has plans to rope in Shah Rukh Khan for a “romantic-comedy’.
But according to sources, King Khan has not given any positive response as he is quite busy with “My Name is Khan’, after which he has to shoot for Farah Khan’s forthcoming “Happy New Year’.
Let us see if Rajiv gets lucky!!!!!!!!
