World No. 2 Serena Williams took over the twenty second seeded Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia in a ruthless match of the fourth round that was played on Sunday. Serena Williams won the match by a 6-2,6-0.

The World No. 2 won 10 straight games from 2-2 to take over Daniela Hantuchova in just 64 minutes. She reached the final set of the game without dropping even a single set.

Even though Hantuchova had kicked off a brighter match, she was not able to withhold her fight against the strong Wimbledon and Australian Open winner.

Williams moves on to the quarterfinals, where she will face the winner of the match between the No. 7 seed, Vera Zvonareva and the No. 10 seed, Flavia Pennetta. If seedings hold, Serena will have a showdown with sister Venus in the semifinals.

One of the big questions from TV commentator Mary Joe Fernandez before the match was how she managed to play with her large hoop earrings.

"Practice. Practice makes perfect,'' Williams replied, not missing a beat.
