Sensex Starts With Green Signal on High Expectations From Budget 2009-10

Expecting the budget 2009-10 to be industry friendly, the key index of the Indian equities markets began the week in the green, 5ve minutes into trading on Monday, which is now 116 points above from its last closing figure.
The benchmark 30-scrip composite Sensex, opened higher at 14,962.12 points, and has been ruling at 15,029.05 points, 116 points or 0.78% higher than Friday's closing figure.

Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was ruling at 4,450.9 points, 0.6 percent higher than its previous close. 
Broader market indices were also ruling in the positive, with the BSE midcap index up 0.96 percent and the BSE smallcap index ruling 0.93 percent higher.
