Satyam Computer Services Ltd, a global IT consulting and service provider, is going to soon develop IT and BPO development centres in Mexico and Chile or Uruguay. This information was provided by senior officer from the company. ‘After opening IT and BPO development centres in Egypt, Brazil and a second center in Australia, we are now looking at setting up the same in Mexico and either in Chile or Uruguay,’ said Mr Ram Mynampati, the president of Satyam Computer Services Ltd. He then informed that his company forsees a substantial growth from outside the United States in the next few years, for instance Asia Pacific, Middle-East and Europe.
In the present time, the United States is responsible for generating 60 per cent business volume, Europe contributes 19.5 per cent whereas the remaining 20.5 per cent is generated by the rest of the world. Countries such as Australia, Singapore, Canada and certain Latin American nations are growing. The Middle-East operations of Satyam Computer Services Ltd grew 102 per cent in revenue for the first-quarter. ‘We are hopeful that 40% volume currently coming from the Asia-Pacific will increase to 50% shortly,’ the president of Satyam Computer stated.
