Seasoned Tamil actor Sathyaraj will be making his debut in Malayalam movies with ‘Aagathan’, which will be shot in Ooty and is being directed by ace filmmaker Kamal. The movie will have Dileep and Charmi essaying lead roles. The music is being composed by ace music director, Ousephachan, who won the National Award for ‘Ore Kadal’.
Says director Kamal: “It is a romantic suspense thriller with a great twist in the end. Sathyaraj sir plays a retired army General Harindranath Varma, and is pivot around which the film revolves. Ex- Bollywood heroine Zarina Wahab plays his wife and Charmi his daughter in the film”
This movie will mark the entry of Sathyaraj into Malayalam movies. This actor has done numerous Tamil movies, which are remakes of Malayalam movies.
Says Sathyaraj: “When Kamal narrated the story to me, I fell in love with my character retired General Harindranath Varma. The highlight would be my scenes with Dileep, who is a fine actor.”
