Ram Gopal Verma, the director of the film ‘Sarkar Raj’, has decided to have special screening for Bal Thackeray. The film will be screened at Thackeray’s home, he added. Earlier Ram Gopal Verma was puzzled with the reports that he had refused to show the film to Thackeray. He denied all these charges and said that these are baseless and he would have loved to invite Thackeray. He said that Thackeray is not feeling well and he could not come, but he will reschedule the screening for him at his place.

 

The screening will be done only after the return of RGV and Bachchans. Both are participating in IIFA, Bangkok. Sarkar Raj is a sequel to Varma's Sarkar stars Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan.  The earlier Sarkar was heavily inspired by Bal Thackeray’s life and his style. In previous film, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan both had played leading roles. This time Aishwarya Rai has been added additionally along with both the Bachchans.

 

The whole star caste of the film is in Bangkok these days for the promotion of the film. Earlier the film was premiered in the film festival and has got good applause, says RGV, the director of the film. Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, David Dhawan, Mumtaz, Randhir and Rajeev Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh attended the premier.
