Ram Gopal Varma along with the Bachchan clan released the background music score of his upcoming film Sarkar Raj. The director released the background music album in the presence of three leading stars of the country Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It is for the first time in the history of Bollywood that a film’s background score was released separately.
The director revealed that the decision to launch the background score separately was prompted by the fact that the Govinda-Govinda theme earlier in the prequel Sarkar was immensely popular. Moreover the decision is also the consequence of an inspiration from the Hollywood tradition of releasing the background score separately.
The music album of the film will hit the markets shortly, while the film is slated to release on June 6. Abhishek and Aishwarya at the launch of the background music score talked more about the director of the film than the background music. Abhishek remarked that Ramu has put in lot of hard work into the film and he and other stars have put in their best to live up to the reputation of Sarkar. Aishwarya also claimed that it was a pleasure working with Ramu.
