Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam became the first person to be eliminated from the reality show Bigg Boss Season 2. He was nominated along with TV actress Shweta Tiwari's ex-husband, Raja Chaudhry. Sanjay Nirupam got as many as 10 nominations from other house members in the first vote-out nomination episode, held on Monday and on Friday he was evicted based on audience votes. 
 
While leaving, Sanjay Nirupam shared his experiences with the host Shilpa Shetty and told her that  for the few days he missed home and work, but since the past two-three days he was enjoying the show. Nirupam created much controversy on the show for his conversations with the women participants.
