Samsung has announced its first LiMo Based H1 & M1mobile phones in association with Vodafone on the Vodafone UK network.
It is the first major Linux based handset in recent times.
Samsung H1 has been customized for Vodafone UI and features a 3.5-inch OLED touchscreen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, push email. Apart from that, the set has a 16GB of internal memory to give you ample space for the multimedia files.
The second set is the M1, which sports a 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen display, HSDPA, GPS, push email, 3MP camera, and 1GB of expandable memory. This version of Samsung will be available in three different colours.
The new Samsung sets will be launched in Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK by the end of the year. In India it may be launched later on.
