Leading consumer electronics manufacturer, Samsung has unveiled a new weatherproof mobile phone called Xplorer B2100. The new rugged handset is capable of withstanding extreme shock and temperature variations. The Samsung Xplorer B2100 mobile phone can last for up to 30 minutes in water. The new phone is wrapped with a weatherproof shield.

 

Samsung Xplorer B2100 comes with a 1.8 inch 120x160 pixel screen. In addition to this, the handset features a music player and FM Radio with RDS.  It endowed with a decent 1.3 megapixel camera and 7MB of memory to store all those photos and music. Xplorer B2100 also comes with a memory expansion slot with Micro SD card support.

 

Samsung Xplorer features Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support for connectivity. It also offers Quad band device with EDGE support. The company claimed that the new phone incorporates outdoor features, robust durability and comfortable grip. This all-new weatherproof mobile phone is expected to be available in India by the fist week of July. Samsung Xplorer will be priced between Rs. 6,000 and Rs. 7,000.
