Samsung has come up with its new ultra-light rage of note books-Samsung x360 at the ongoing IFA 2008 in Berlin, Germany. The newly designed Samsung notebook is supposed to outperform all the contemporary notebooks including Mac Book Air and Lenovo 360. These new rages of notebook weighing about 1.27 kg are perhaps the lightest note book in the market.
Endowed with 13.3 inch WXGA (1280x800) LCD screen, the sleek new model is powered by Intel Centrino2 ultra low voltage technology. The new Samsung x360 is equipped with 6 removable battery cells that promise to provide 10 hours of back up power supply. The x360 also comes with 1 GB memory that can be expanded up to 4 GB.
The note book also incorporates a 1.3 mega pixel digital motion camera which can be very useful for video conferencing and live messaging. Also there is an in-built HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) within the note book. Besides these, the notebook has a 7-in-1 memory card reader, blue tooth and a DVD super multi-dual layer writer.
Although pricing and availability details have not been revealed it is said that Samsung x360 will be available from the month of September in some of the European countries including UK, Germany, Japan and Russia.
