Samsung has introduced a whole new series of notebooks and netbooks in Indian market. The company has unveiled four new and light-weighted N series netbooks and three new R series of notebooks. The netbooks or the mini laptops launched by Samsung, include N110, NC 20, N120, and N310 models. On the other hand, the R series of laptops include R470, R522, and R518 models.
Samsung N110 netbook is a light-weighted mini laptop with host of features like 10.1-inch display, 1.3 MP digital motion camera and others. N110 comes with 6- cell battery and weighs only 1.26kg. The key board of this mini-laptop is 93 percent the size of a regular desktop’s. On the other hand, Samsung N120 netbook comes with stereo speakers with a dedicated sub-woofer. The N110 will carry a price tag of Rs.25,252 while N120 will be available for Rs.26,327. Both the Samsung products come with one-year international warranty.
Samsung N310 netbook is endowed with Intel ATOM Processor, 1GB (Max 2 GB/1 SODIMM), 160GB (5400rpm SATA), and Intel GMA 950 Graphic. The slimmest mini laptop comes with scratchproof flat screen and 1.3 M webcam. This netbook features a notebook PC style keyboard just like Samsung N110. Samsung N310 netbook is priced at Rs.30,089, with one-year warranty. Moving on to the R series, Samsung R470 carries a price tag of Rs.48,364 while R522 is available in two configurations priced at Rs.37399 and Rs.41,914 respectively. The R series notebooks are also supported by one-year international warranty.
