Guru200 was recently unveiled by Samsung Telecommunications India after it successfully launched Guru100 earlier this year in February. The Guru200 is a sleek dual band phone with stereo FM Radio and a recording feature. The company revealed that the new phone offers FM recording as a new feature in the entry level segment. In the new handset the users can not only record songs from FM radio but also save them as alarm or ring tones.
The lustrous and stylish color phone also offers multimedia features like Java Games (Sudoku and Cricket) and MP3 ring tones. The phone also comes along with a mobile tracker and upto 9 hours of talk time. According to Mr. Sunil Dutt, country head Samsung Telecommunications, "Samsung Guru200 offers strong value proposition to consumers at the entry level mobile phone segment". The phone comes with preloaded Bollywood ring tones and is priced at a nominal sum of Rs2999.
