Samsung S7550 Blue Earth that had emerged just as an idea has now been made official. The eco-friendly device comes with a solar panel on the back and an energy-efficient charger for the days when or in places where there’s no Sun around. Furthermore, the phone is made from substances that do not pose any harm for the environment. Substances like Beryllium, Phthalate or Brominated Flame Retardants cannot be found in the phone.
The handset comes with a rounded case and a large touch-screen display. There is a camera on the back, and Samsung’s widget-friendly TouchWIZ UI is also present.
Blue Earth’s user interface is one-of-a-kind, created in order to “draw attention to preserving our fragile environment”. Release date is unknown and the same goes for pricing.
