Samsung Electronics has launched the world's first slider type Digital Video Broadcast - Handheld (DVB-H) mobile TV phone P960. The phone is also the world's first DVB-H mobile TV phone which supports Digital Video Broadcast - Convergence of Broadcast and Mobile Service (DVB-CBMS) and Open Mobile Alliance Mobile Broadcast Service Enabler Suite (OMA-BCAST).
 
The phone also has other attractive features such as 2.6 inches QVGA TFT screen which displays 262K colors. The phone also has a 3 mega pixel camera, FM radio and music player with music library feature. The device makes watching television on your phone a cake walk. With various features such as Electronic Service Guide (ESG) and Picture in Picture (PIP) that effectively allows the user to view to channels simultaneously, the phone satisfies all the entertainment needs that a user might have.
 
Audio quality is enhanced by Bang & Olufsen ICEPower technology. With a battery life of 1200mAh you can watch television up to 5 hours. The phone has all other modern technologies and has a thickness of just 16.7mm. Its body is made of metal with softly brushed patterns. The President of Samsung's Telecom Business, Geesung Choi, said that the launch of the phone will mark the beginning of DVB-H phone era in Europe.
