South Korean cell phone maker, Samsung Mobile is planning to launch two new music mobile phones- the M2310 and M2710 which will boast high end music capabilities. Both the M2310 and M2710 phones come with music-dedicated buttons on the front. These handsets inherit design features from their predecessor, M7600 “Beat DJ". Both of the new music mobile phones also feature GPRS/EDGE connectivity.

 

The Samsung M2710 is a slider with a 2 megapixel camera and memory card slot. The M2710 also includes features such as a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM Radio, Bluetooth connectivity and the “Mobile Tracker” feature, meant to track down the device in case it is lost or stolen.

 

The Samsung M2310 is a clamshell phone. It features a sports FM radio, Bluetooth, memory card slot, and media control buttons on its front panel. It also has anti-theft, mobile-tracking software. The M2710 is believed to be the superior device out of the two.

 

The launch date and details of pricing are not yet known. But there are rumors that the handsets will be targeting the South American market. The release in India could follow after South America.
