Samsung has launched its low-end phone, the Guru 1175 for Indian market.  This is expected to provide it a push for more sales in one of the fastest growing mobile markets in the world.
 
Samsung has also priced the new model for just Rs.1690 in accordance with its policy of reaching to the rural customers. The Guru 1175 is expected to be a feature rich set with both style and functionality.
 
Speaking on the launch of the new Samsung set, Mr. Ranjit Yadav, Director, Mobile & IT, Samsung India said, “The new, stylish Guru 1175 is a valuable addition to the popular Guru series of Samsung phones in the essential phone segment. The Guru series stand differentiated in the market on account of their Longer Battery Life, Bright Torch Light, regional language display and advanced mobile tracker. The feature packed Guru 1175 introduces style to the series along with all the features the Guru series is known for and more.”
 
The Guru boasts of 1.52″ 65K CSTN display and features FM Radio ,Torch, Advanced Mobile Tracker, Fake Call, Indian Calendar, Bike Mode, Voice keytones, Polyphonic ringtones, 1MB memory  and 12 hours of battery life. The cell supports nine regional languages too.
