Samsung has launched its Galaxy Spica i5700 set in European markets. The Android based handset was launched after the phone was officially unveiled in Russia a few days before.
 
The Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 is a modified version of its earlier set, Samsung Galaxy i7500. The set sports with a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display along with GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity. Apart from that, it runs with Google mobile services in it. The set has an 800 MHz processor associated with it.
 
The set has a 3.2 MP camera and 3.5mm headset jack. More to it, the Android based phone is provided with MicroSD card slot and expandable memory option. The users will be delighted with its multimedia scheme of things covered with the set. Apart from that, this is the first Android based phone with native DivX support.
 
The Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 is likely to be available at $479 (Rs. 21,000 approx.). However, the Indian users may have to wait for some time to get its first glimpse.
