Sanjay Sharma, VP-IT business, Samsung India, talking about the decision of focusing on LCD market said that most of the new models are in the category of wide screen LCD format, given the dramatic shift in the Indian market towards the wide screen display monitors and rising demand company has decided so.
The decision from the South Korean multinational Samsung India Electronics has come in midst of Sony and LG’s decision to enter into partnership for larger LCD production earlier this week. Samsung has come up with a series of products including of enhanced LCD monitor series—T Monitor, Lime and Myst Plus.
T-Monitor which has response time of two mili seconds and a panel displaying 16.7 million colors is available in format of 19”, 20” and 22”. On the other hand Lime series LCD’s have five mili second response time, also, it has in-built webcam and motion detection capability.
