Samsung has launched the Exec SCH-i225 smartphone in association with U.S. Cellular. The new handset looks to be an intelligent phone with hordes of features.
 
Samsung Exec SCH-i225 smartphone sports a slim fabrication and carries the Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. Apart from that, the other features associated with this smartphone include the Microsoft Office Outlook ActiveSync for uninterrupted mailing, PowerPoint Mobile and Word Mobile, Windows Mobile Device Center for syncing favorite music, pictures and videos and Windows Live Messenger for texting and picture messaging.
 
This is also a nice set that can suffice the need for social networking and web browsing as there is a high-speed HTML browser and an expansive full QWERTY keyboard with the Exec SCH-i225. Moreover, social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Flickr keep a user busy all the time.
 
“Many of our customers are multi-taskers who want smartphones that helps them get their work done even when they’re out of the office,” commented Ed Perez, vice-president of marketing and sales for U.S. Cellular.
 
 “The Exec delivers on this need and most important, keeps them connected with family and friends,” he added.
 
For the camera buffs, there is also a 2MP camera with a camcorder stereo. Stereo Bluetooth, integrated music player, optional external memory up to 32GB, Adobe Reader LE 2.5, Calendar, Alarms, Anniversary Reminder and Tasks are the other necessary features with this device.
 
The Exec i225 phone offers talktime of up to 8 hours. It is available at approximately $99 .95 on a two-year contract after a $70 mail in rebate or by $299.95 without the contract. Customers can order the phone via U.S. Cellular retail stores or online from company’s website.
