Samsung has launched a new compact ES10 digital camera. It is the first camera in the new ES series. It is an entry level camera and comes with some advanced features. The new 8.1 MP camera with 1/2.5″ high resolution CCD sensor enables the user to take high quality picture. The Samsung ES10 comes with 3X zoom and a 2.5 inch LCD screen which supports a resolution of 230k.

 

The new ES10 camera supports high quality video recordings with MPEG VGA resolution at 640 X 480 and 30/15 fps. It also has an auto sensitivity feature that can adjust sensitivity according to the exposure.

 

The camera also has features like Face detecting, Red Eye Fix and Self Portrait. The Beauty Shot feature identifies blemishes and dark spots on the face and retouches them. ES10 also includes feature like LCD display that automatically adjusts to the environment brightness. The Multi slide show in ES10 allows pictures to be arranged in a slide show and music can be added.

 

The camera will be available in US in silver, pink, white and black colors. The pricing details are not yet announced.
