Samsung has announced the upcoming availability of its new mobile phone Samsung B5702. This dual-standby phone can operate two SIM cards simultaneously. According to the company, it is going to be the first dual-standby phone that supports quad band connectivity. The new phone comes integrated with two LED lights that indicate which SIM is active when users receive a call.
There are dedicated hot key on the sides of Samsung B5702 by which customers can easily switch between the two SIM cards without rebooting the device. They also can personalize the phone with themes, melodies, and screensavers which will help them to recognize which SIM card is in use. Among major features B5702 sports a 2.4 inch TFT LCD screen with 320 x 240 resolutions and a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus.
Samsung B5702 has a slider design and is merely 17.5m in thickness. It is packed with 50MB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 8GB. It features a FM radio with RDS function, a MP3 player and supports various audio and video formats. Additionally, it supports full web browsing and document viewer. The phone will be available in Russia and other markets in May 2009. The pricing details are not yet announced.
