Samson has unveiled a novel device- Meteor Mic, USB-connected device that is capable of recording music on computers. The device has been launched as a limited edition microphone. The Meteor Mic can be connected to laptops, tablets using USB.
Samson has launched two versions of the device including gold-plated and chrome plated. Let’s now look into the features of the device. The mic is supported by a stand from three sides and comes bundled with a USB cable and carry pouch. The leg of the stand is foldable, which makes it easier to carry.
The mic is capable of plugging directly into any device without having to use any drivers. The Meteor Mic will be the ideal device for Skype, iChat or voice recognition software.
The headphone is equipped with volume control features with microphone mute switch. There is 1/8 inches headphone jack, headphone output and USB connector on one side of the mic while there is an intelligent LED, mic mute switch, headphone volume and stand adapter on the other side.
The limited version of Meteor Mic is available exclusively at Best Buy. Currently, the retailer takes pre-orders for the device, which is to be released on April 15.
