Sam Worthington who is best known for his role in Academy Award winning movie ‘Avatar’ believes that by donning skirt in his flick, ‘Clash of Titans’ has uplifted his career.
Worthington is portraying the role of ‘Perseus’, the son of the Gods in his new flick. The actor insisted that he was not shy of wearing a skirt as he is inspired by other Australian actors who have donned skirt in their movies.
Sam Worthington quoted, "The upside is that it's very well ventilated. Look, Russell Crowe wore one for 'Gladiator', Eric Bana wore one for 'Troy', Mel Gibson wore one for 'Braveheart'.”
"I think it was the next logical step in my career. I think it's something every young Australian actor has to do, isn't it? You earn your chops for putting on the dress," he added.
