The presence of the charismatic Salman Khan at Mumbai’s DY Patil Sports Stadium during the closing ceremony of the IPL final match between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings on Sunday, June 1, quite made up for the absence of the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan from the scene. Infact, the moment Salman Khan burst into the stage to perform, one hardly noticed that SRK was not present during the closing ceremony of the IPL finals! 

 

Salman Khan, who is always a crowd puller at both home and abroad, made the audiences sit upright on the edge of their seats the few minutes that he was onstage. He danced to the track of his forthcoming television reality show Dus Ka Dam with an entourage of 24 dancers in the background. From the Bollywood arena, there were also other personalities like Sameera Reddy, Dia Mirza, Shamita Shetty, etc. who revved up the event with their performance.
