Salam Khan who always loves to sport bold and human act for society upliftment has gone far to facilitate the young braves who are contributing in the same line towards the society. He was present at the  'CID Gallantry Awards' to facilitate the young achievers for their bravery on January 20.

 The audience went frenzy by the star’s presence, as it was a big surprise and joy for them to see him on a different platform; he was the chief guest of the event.

 To woo the brave ones even the team of popular serial ‘CID’ joined the night, while some of the noted personalities of small screen entertained the audience giving the entire event the look of a celebrity show.

 The entire CID team was congratulated by Salman and addressed, “I am happy and amazed that how Mr.B.P Singh pulled his show for 12 long years because I remember when we were shooting for ‘Dus Ka Dum’,earlier, it used to come two days in a week then it came for only one day and now I think it will come half a day. But I am fortunate enough that even I was a part of the CID team and now I am here for the first Gallantary Awards.” He felicitated the awards to the young braves like Prachi Sen,Dinesh Vora and Satyam Khandekar.

 
The real ‘Veer’ is the one who has the heart to help others in need and Salman added, “The real Veer is the one who has real jigra and who always helps others when they are in need.I support 3 Idiots, the film and Aamir Khan’s intiative to stop the suicides of the college students. For me, all these kids are the real Veer.”  

  

The event was highlighted with noted personalities like Anu Malik, Kailash Kher, Aditya Srivastav, Shivaji Satam, Daya Shetty, Munisha Khatwani, Kashmira Shah, Manasi Verma, Vaishnavi Dhanraj, Shweta Kawatra, Manav Gohil, Shweta Keswani, Alex O’Neil, Ronit Roy and others.

 

The best part of this event was that  Salman tried beautifully with his vocal chords to impress the audience with a song from ‘Veer,’ his upcoming movie.
